I just upgraded to 2.5 – I seem to belong to the 50% of WordPress users that actually like the new admin interface.
Upgrading was flawless and I then decided to restructure my permalinks – hopefully the Redirection-plugin along with pinging Google Sitemaps will save my poor 404 page from the worst heat. Otherwise – please bear with me until Google figures out what happened.
If you are in need of an effective case demonstrating that WordPress can look all cool and glittery – head over to the Ford Global Auto Show. Very slick design, open comments and of course lots of all those little social bookmarking icons, invitations to use rss, netvibes, iGoogle and whatnot.
Only thing that bothers me a bit is their use of date-based permalinks. It may not mean much but I think these two urls speak for them selves:

The suspense finally drove me to westi on wordpress, where Peter Westwood, one of the Lead Developers of WordPress, reports on the status of WordPress development. Be warned: nothing there for non-nerds.

Seems to work pretty well… – Vimeo boasts having HD-video service, so I thought I might check that out
