Load usability

One of the classical rules in web usability is to make the website as accesible to the users as possible. Unfortunately Vejrumbro Hegn & Flag skipped that chapter in the usability manual; a frontpage image of 1300 kb does not load quickly – to make it even more hopeless the image has been downscaled to 25% of it’s original size – but with the full image size maintained. Wonderful (that be irony).

Would this pass the ‘hold your breath test‘ on a dial up?
