I’ve been following a weekly newsletter/educational stream of writing tools dispensed by Roy Peter Clark at poynter.org. The writing tools have reached number 35 – the most recent focuses on punctuation. Every issue comes with examples and a workshop – making it very easy for writing teachers to sample from in teaching of their own.
Mostly it is tips or tools that I am already aware of or using but it is nice to see experience dispensed at no cost to the knowledge hungy masses in the world – and it is nice that it is nicely ordered in the same location.
When I get my base of knowledge built up – I’ll start my own newsletter of elementary tips and tricks of my trade.
